I almost forget to write this blog post, though I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be the end of the world. Probably.

Talking about end of the world, my Macabre Dark Art Gallery is now open? And what does it have to do with the end of the world you may ask? I don't know! But go check it out anyway, there's almost all of my digital paintings and illustrations on a display. It's cool.

Hopefully this inspires me to draw and paint more again. I've been doing some stuff on cardboard, but inspiration for pictures is right now... minimalistic.

But for music my inspiration is huge. I put out 'island life', a little Animal Crossing inspired piece with some weird synth sounds. I think it's pretty cute, give it a spin:

And as usual, there is a new Juho & the Jellyfish from Jupiter song. This one is called 'Boys Don't Cry' and I guess it criticizes the over-masculine culture that male assumed persons may and will have to fight against. I don't know. I make words and then I sing them.

'Boys Don't Cry' is a pop punk song, so it's a return to my roots in a way. Maybe not the musically most interesting track, but it's fun and to get it sound what it sounds like was a huge achievement for me personally. I even dug my old Boss DS-1 distortion pedal to use in this.

Some Dutch person wrote something about how my other song 'Hope (I Hate the Noise That Cars Make') is very different car-themed song (I guess). There's some new short stories on my blog if you're interested. I've been also writing some gaming related blog posts on my gaming blog Melancholic Zombie plays videogames, which were on a hiatus for a... five or six years? If you are interested in game stuff, I recommend my own texts without shame. I've been writing about why Fallout 76 is such a good game, how diegetic sounds work on Portal and how I learned to love to not use fast travel on open world games. Most of the texts are pretty short so they're fast to read.

I guess that's all for now. There will be some postcards soon on my Etsy store, so stay tuned for that.
